How much is an approved Manager (Liquor) Application?

$398.85 – you are given an application on the day (all prices subject to change without notice) - click here for current fees

Do I need RMLV training if I am a former-nominee?

A person who is a nominee for a licence or permit immediately before 1 January 2009 is taken to hold an approval as an approved manager until 30 June 2010, unless the approval is cancelled or surrendered before that day. Such persons are still required to complete the RMLV and RSA training (if not already obtained) if they wish to continue as an approved manager. A formal application to be an approved manager must also be completed and submitted to OLGR prior to 30 June 2010.

Who should enrol and is it available to anyone?

From the 1st January 2009 RMLV certification will be required by all “Approved Managers” under the
new legislation.

Were you aware that you have until the 30th June 2010 to transition to an Approved Managers License?? This is Mandatory from OLGR (Office of Liquor and Regulation)

Staff that can benefit from doing the course include:

  • Club Directors
  • Duty Managers
  • Supervisors
  • Trainee Managers
  • Interested Senior Staff Members

Is the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) course covered in the RMLV?

Further updates (from June 2011) to the framework now allows the Responsible service of alcohol (RSA) course to be incorporated into the RMLV course and delivered as one 'combined' course.  Successful completion of this course will allow a course participant to be issued with one RSA certificate and one RMLV certificate.

How long is RMLV training valid?

RMLV training will remain current for a period of 3 years, after which time the holder of the certificate will need to renew the training.
