Credit Transfer Procedure

Ignite Education provides credit for students that have completed the same units of competency previously, either with other Registered Training Organisations OR with Ignite Education itself. 

The Credit Transfer Procedure is as follows:

  • If a student has identified that they have previously completed a unit of competency with another RTO then they must complete the Ignite Education Credit Transfer Form and attach a copy of their statement of attainment(SOA) or Certificate 
  • The statement of attainment must either be a copy sighted and verified by a Justice of the Peace (JP) or Ignite staff member must sight the original document (not a copy), take a copy,  and write “Sighted original” with their initials and date on the copy of the SOA of certificate
  • If a student completed the unit/s with Ignite Education they still need to complete the Ignite Education Credit Transfer Form but do not need to provide a copy of their SOA/results but a unit transcript from Wisenet (admin staff will print this) must be attached to the Ignite Education Credit Transfer Form and units that are to be credited must be highlighted. 
  • Once paperwork has been completed and the required evidence attached it must go to the General Manager for approval, it will then be given to the administration officer for processing

All credit transfers must be approved by the General Manager before going to administration for processing.
