Each year in Australia approximately one in five people will experience a mental illness. A new initiative from ACNC registered charity Couee Community called ‘Level Minds’ has taken on the mission of raising awareness and tackling the challenges faced by anyone suffering from or affected by PTSD, anxiety & mental health issues.
Level Minds raises money to fund their mindfulness app. The app features an interactive & step-by-step mindfulness program that will allow users to access tips for practicing mindfulness, day or night & when on the go. Mindfulness is a simple practice that involves being as focused on the present moment as possible, and has been proven to help alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety.
Ignite Education is a proud partner of Level Minds and we are extremely excited to announce that Level Minds is offering TWO half scholarships for our upcoming Diploma of Hospitality Management course commencing early February 2018 each valued at $1,750! To apply, applicants must send a 1-2 minute video of themselves explaining why they would like to do the Diploma course and why they would like the scholarship. Our Diploma of Hospitality Management course is a nationally recognised qualification that provides students with an extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry. The course provides students with the opportunity to host their own live event, take place in a number of industry tours and best of all take part in a 7 day P&O cruise on which you will be given backstage access into a number of the operations of the cruise.
